Usage: Used for total bacterial count determination (GB 4789.2-2010, SN0168-92, GB13093-91, SN/T 2098-2008 and ISO4833-2003).
Principle: peptone and yeast extract as basic nutrients to provide nitrogen, carbon, B vitamins and other nutrients for general bacterial growth; glucose to provide the energy needed for growth and metabolism; agar as a coagulant.
Method of preparation:
Weigh this product 23.5g in 1L distilled water or deionized water (can be proportionally increased or reduced formulation), heat and boil until completely dissolved, sub-packed, high-pressure sterilization at 121 C for 15 minutes, shake well after sterilization, in order to prevent agar deposition in the bottom of the vessel and solidify, reserve.
