Clutch master cylinder
The clutch master cylinder collects pedal stroke information and uses the booster to separate the clutch. When the driver steps on the clutch pedal, the push rod pushes the master cylinder piston to increase the oil pressure, and enters the clutch slave cylinder through the hose, forcing the clutch slave cylinder lever to push the release fork and push the release bearing forward;
when the driver releases the clutch pedal, the hydraulic pressure is released, the release fork gradually returns to its original position under the action of the return spring, and the clutch is in the engaged state again.
If the clutch master cylinder of a car is broken, oil leakage will generally occur. The most obvious symptom is that it is difficult to engage the target gear when the clutch is engaged. The failure of the master cylinder will cause the clutch to be incomplete or inseparable.
Once this phenomenon occurs, try to avoid forcibly gearing, otherwise it will increase wear. Usually, for this kind of failure, it is to replace the new clutch master cylinder to ensure driving safety.
Clutch pressure plate
The clutch pressure plate is an important structure of the truck, which works together with the clutch disc and plays an important role in the safety of the truck. The torque from the engine is transmitted to the clutch disc through the friction of the flywheel and the contact surface of the pressure plate with the clutch disc.
When the driver steps on the clutch pedal, the large end of the diaphragm spring drives the pressure plate to move backward through the transmission of the mechanical parts. At this time, the driven part is separated from the active part.
In order to reduce the loss of the clutch disc and pressure plate, the clutch pedal should be used correctly. Try not to half-depress the clutch pedal. If the clutch pedal is half-depressed, so that the clutch disc is in a half-clutch state, the flying disc and the pressure plate will always be in a state of friction, increasing its loss.
If the clutch pedal is fully depressed, the flywheel and the clutch pressure plate are completely cut, and there is no friction between the two. If the clutch pedal is fully lifted, the flywheel and the clutch pressure plate are fully integrated. Although there is friction, but there is basically no friction. Therefore, for the long life of the clutch pressure plate and driving safety, correct driving behavior is particularly important.
